Full Job Description


Creative Windows is the leading provider of window coverings (including roller shades, blinds, shutters, draperies, etc.) in Michigan, Northern Ohio, and Indiana. We have been in business for 40 years.

An Installer at Creative Windows is responsible for the installation of window treatments such as blinds, valances, drapery, shutters, and film on commercial or residential job sites. As an installer you will also be doing repairs and taking measurements for new window treatments. Experience is a plus, but training will be given to the right candidates. This is a full-time position with 40 hours a week available.

Valid Driver's License

Hand Tools/ Power Tools (Drill, Saw, etc.)

Reliable Transportation

Work well in a team setting

Willing to Travel

Good written and oral communication skills

Computer Skills (Excel & Email)

Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines

Ability to accurately measure

Experience in electrical wiring is a plus

Creative Windows, located in Ann Arbor, MI, is a 40-year-old manufacturer of roller shades and a dealer of national window covering brands. We need an additional PROJECT MANAGER to support the continued growth of our commercial sales operations.

The best candidate for this position will have 5 years of similar experience and a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field, as well as demonstrated excellence in similar assignments. The “right” individual is an organized self-starter who can assume and execute senior-level management and coordinating responsibilities over multiple projects, delivering those projects to completion at targeted profitability.

At Creative Windows, Project Managers:

Develop project plans to oversee and track project progress, coordinate internal resources and third party / vendors to ensure the flawless execution of projects, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.

When necessary, assist in developing changes to project scope and objectives (involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility), make appropriate changes to project schedules and adjust project projected costs; prepare Change Orders as necessary and ensure invoicing is complete.

In addition to the experience and education called for above, the successful candidate should also have:

Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills.

Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.

Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook.

Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
