Project Manager Job Summary
Creative Windows, located in Ann Arbor, MI, is a 40-year-old manufacturer of roller shades and a dealer of national window covering brands. We need an additional PROJECT MANAGER to support the continued growth of our commercial window treatment operations.
The best candidate for this position will have 3 years of similar experience in a construction or construction related industry and a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field, as well as demonstrated excellence in similar assignments. The “right” individual is an organized self-starter who can assume and execute senior-level management and coordinating responsibilities over multiple projects; delivering those projects to completion at targeted profitability.
At Creative Windows, Project Managers:
Develop project plans to oversee and track project progress, coordinate internal resources and third party / vendors to ensure the flawless execution of projects, and ensure that projects are completed on time, within scope and within budget.
When necessary, assist in developing changes to project scope and objectives (involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility), make appropriate changes to project schedules and adjust project projected costs; prepare Change Orders as necessary and ensure invoicing is complete.
Measure, track, & report project performance using the company’s standard reporting systems and processes.
Manage relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Create and maintain comprehensive and up-to-date project documentation.
Use and continuously develop leadership skills.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
In addition to the experience and education called for above, the successful candidate should also have:
Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills.
Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and Outlook.
Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
The position reports to our Director of Project Management and is entitled to participate in the full offering of company benefits including medical, vacation, and others.

Accounting Job Description
Full time position available for an accounting clerk for a small privately owned subcontractor. Must have accounting experience and be well-versed in Excel.
The accounting clerk will handle all aspects of the daily accounting duties of our small business.
Daily accounting procedures including:
Processing accounts receivables (invoicing thru cash receipts and preparing of deposit for bank)
Collections of unpaid balances
Processing accounts payables from receipt of invoice thru payment, including matching receivers to invoices and determining which bills are ready to be paid.
Cash management
Special monthly AIA billings, contract reconciliation and all related legal paperwork including waivers, sworn statements and Notice of Furnishings to protect our lien rights
Preparation of weekly and monthly reports in a timely manner
Filing
Others duties as assigned
Excel proficiency needed for preparing weekly and monthly reports
Bachelors degree preferred
Preferred experience:
QuickBooks (Premier edition)
Subcontractor paperwork experience including processing of AIA’s, waivers, sworn statements, contract reconciliation, etc. Knowledge of lien process beneficial.
Salary commensurate with experience.

Production Worker Job Description
Job Summary
This position will primarily assist in our production of roller shades. Additionally, they will be involved in packaging of finished goods and verifying orders are complete. They will also move goods around the warehouse and help installers in the field at times. A strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions are a must.
Qualifications and Skills:
Must be: detail oriented, self-motivated and dependable
Be able to use and read a measuring tape.
Have the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
Have the ability to lift 75 pounds on a semi-regular basis
Forklift experience a plus
Accurately assemble components in a fast-pace environment.
Work in a team environment.
Be able to stand for duration of the shift
Load and unload shipments from trucks
Make deliveries to outside location
Pull completed orders and prepare for installers
Assist installers in the field
Maintain organization of the warehouse
Other duties as necessary

Window Treatment Installer
Creative Windows is the leading provider of window coverings in Michigan. An Installer at Creative Windows is responsible for the installation of all types of window treatments on commercial and residential job sites. Carpentry experience is a plus, but training will be given to the right candidates.
This is a full-time or part time position and can be structured as an employee or subcontractor.
Requirements:
Valid Driver's License with few or no points
Hand Tools/ Power Tools (Drill, Saw, etc.)
Reliable Transportation

Computer Skills- (Excel & Email)
Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines
